Quoting and sourcing
What should I include in a quote request?
A drawing in PDF, DWG, or STEP if you have one, plus quantity, material, any critical requirements, and a target date. If you don't have all of that yet, send what you have and tell us what's still open. We'll ask for the rest.
What quantities can you support?
Anywhere from a single prototype to a few hundred pieces, typically up to around 500 per part. The right lot size depends on the component, the process, and what you're using it for.
Which materials can you source?
304 and 316 stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum alloys as standard, plus brass, bronze, and specialty alloys on request. For plastics: food-grade UHMW, Delrin (acetal), and PEEK. Confirm the exact grade and any requirements with your enquiry.
Do you provide inspection reports or material certificates?
Yes, when the job calls for it. Documentation and inspection requirements are project-specific, so include what you need, such as first-article reports, material certificates, or traceability documentation, with your RFQ and we'll confirm it before quoting.
How we operate
Does Maple MPSS operate its own facility in India?
Yes. Our Chennai, Tamil Nadu office is part of Maple MPSS, not a third-party partner. CNC machining, CAD and design-for-manufacturing, and software engineering all happen there under our own team, with the Burlington, Ontario office owning the client relationship, engineering review, and final accountability for delivery.
Still have a question? Send it with the part.
A concrete drawing or sample is the fastest way to get a real answer, not a general one. We respond within three business days.
